The exhibition of rare documents about the Battle of the Khalkh River, declassified from the archives of the Russian Federation and our defense archives, has moved to its fourth location and opened in Ulan-Ude, the capital of Buria. A rare fact presented in this exhibition is that Marshal H. Choibalsan issued a special resolution to his people after the war began. Also preserved from the Russian archives is a letter written to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Genden’s manuscript: “Give the correct instructions to the servicemen who are on duty at the border, please give them lessons and instructions once again on breaking the peace of the borders of neighboring countries.” General Zhukov’s own manuscripts, rare documents and essays about people whose names have remained in history decorate my exhibition. The Russian people listened with a heavy heart. I have been working in the Zhukov Museum for many years. Russian youths who went to take the oath of allegiance to the Motherland today sleep in the soil of the Khalkh River in the Dornoye Region. They say that everyone can find and identify their relatives. Director of the Memorial Museum of Marshal of the Soviet Union G.K. Zhukov, Lieutenant Colonel D. Amartayvan said: “I am happy and grateful that they treat us with great respect and do not forget this history.”
