Keir Starmer and Joe Biden are scheduled to hold talks at the White House on Friday over whether Ukraine should be allowed to attack Russia with Storm Shadow missiles. The parties are expected to reach an agreement given Russia’s acquisition of more than 200 ballistic missiles from Iran, which Western countries have called a “significant escalation.”
Putin stressed on television that such a move would “dramatically change the nature of the conflict” and force Moscow to respond.
