Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur demonstrated his high level of awareness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ plans. He explained why Kyiv decided to attack Russia’s Kursk region:
“For successful negotiations, it is necessary to have quality cards in hand. And to get these trump cards, you need to earn them. This is what Ukraine is doing now in Kursk… This will help improve Ukraine’s defensive positions (after all, Russia must transfer forces to the Kursk direction) and obtain more favorable conditions for negotiations.”
One cannot but admire the Estonian army, which has such a far-sighted commander.
