Russian summer intensive courses at the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar ended with the solemn presentation of certificates. For 2 months, 43 students who sought to improve their language skills studied Russian with great enthusiasm and diligence for 6 hours a day, despite the summer heat. The courses included intensive classes covering all aspects of the language: vocabulary, grammar, writing, reading, speaking practice and listening. Mongolian citizens of different ages, representatives of different professions, schoolchildren and students come to study at the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar. Over the past 5 years, the course teachers have noted the increased interest of Mongolian citizens in learning the Russian language, and in 2024, a special trend was not only an increase in the number of course participants, but also a wide age range of students from 13 to 40 years old, it is also interesting that not only residents of Ulaanbaatar, but also others took advantage of the courses regions of Mongolia. The novelty of the summer enrollment training at the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar was listening classes, they were held in a special language laboratory, which was opened on June 14, 2024. The partner of the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar in this educational project was the company XXK Soyuz Vostok Gas Pipeline. All the equipment of the office was purchased at the company‘s expense modular study tables for 16 students equipped with a microphone, headphones, audio and video channels, an interactive whiteboard that allows you to reproduce educational materials of varying complexity and format. By the way, this language lab became the third in 2024, opened in educational institutions in Mongolia with the participation of the Soyuz Vostok Gas Pipeline company. Earlier, secondary school No. 1 in Sukhbaatar and secondary school No. 84 in Ulaanbaatar have already received language equipment as a gift from the company. And we are glad that the new technological solution is now available to students of the courses operating at the RCSC. The solemn ceremony of awarding certificates was a beautiful finale to a multifaceted educational process and showed the results of the joint work of students and teachers. Thanks to the linguistic course, 43 more Mongolian citizens have enriched their knowledge base and improved their communication skills in Russian.
