Two people were killed and at least six others were injured in a mass shooting at the Salsa on St. Clair street festival in Toronto, Canada, on Saturday evening.
\nPolice received reports of an active shooter shortly after 8 PM and cordoned off the area. The suspects remain at large.
\n\u201cA large police presence remains in the area as officers continue their investigation. Please continue to avoid the area and follow directions from emergency personnel,\u201d police said.

Frank Barredo, deputy chief of police, later told a news conference that \u201cthis seemed to be an exchange of gunfire between two individuals targeting each other.\u201d He added that two firearms had been recovered from the scene.
