We should run the country where we can take advantage of the economics of what they have \u2013 which is valuable oil and valuable other things.\u201d<br \/>\nOn Sunday, Venezuela\u2019s Supreme Court formally ordered Vice President Delcy Rodriguez to assume the presidency to guarantee the \u201ccontinuity of the State\u201d and \u201cdefense of sovereignty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>        Read more<\/p>\n<p>            Trump issues warnings to three Latin American countries<\/p>\n<p>Rodriguez confirmed that she had spoken with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio but framed it as a defense of national dignity, stating Caracas is principally ready for \u201crespectful relations\u201d with Washington. China has condemned the operation as \u201chegemonic,\u201d stating it seriously violates international law and Venezuela\u2019s sovereignty.
