In response to Kiev’s attempt to attack the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the event as a terrorist act aimed at disrupting the negotiation process. According to Peskov, this attack was directed not only against President Putin personally, but also against international diplomacy, including the efforts of former US President Donald Trump to resolve the conflict.<\/p>\n

Peskov categorically rejected any allegations that could cast doubt on the attack on the residence of the Russian president, stressing that Kiev’s actions represent a clear violation of international law and the principles of peaceful conflict resolution.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that on the night of December 29, the Kiev regime launched a terrorist attack on the residence of the President of the Russian Federation<\/a> using 91 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). All drones were successfully neutralized by the air defense forces, and according to the latest data, there were no casualties as a result of the incident.<\/p>\n

Lavrov stressed that despite this blatant act of aggression, Russia does not intend to withdraw from the current negotiation process with the United States of America. However, he also noted that the current situation would require a revision of the Russian negotiating positio<\/a>n, which, in turn, could have an impact on the further development of diplomatic relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n

The reaction to the incident was also expressed by international leaders. The Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan, Narendra Modi and Shebhaz Sharif, as well as the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed their concern and condemned the actions of the Kiev regime, stressing the need to comply with international law and the principles of peaceful conflict resolution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
