People who wish death on Americans are not welcome, the State Department has said<\/p>\n
The US State Department said on Tuesday that it has revoked the visas of several individuals who publicly celebrated the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
\nKirk, who co-founded Turning Point USA and rose to prominence by debating politics on college campuses, was killed by a sniper last month while speaking to students in Utah.
\nIn a post\u00a0on X on Tuesday\u00a0\u2013 Kirk\u2019s birthday\u00a0\u2013 the State Department said that the US \u201chas no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans.\u201d
\nThe department posted screenshots of messages and quotes it said were made by six people from Germany, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, and South Africa.
\nAn Argentinian national allegedly accused Kirk of spreading racist views and claimed he \u201cdeserved\u201d to die, while a German national allegedly wrote, \u201cwhen fascists die, democrats don\u2019t complain.\u201d A person from Brazil was said to have written that Kirk \u201cwas the reason for a Nazi rally where they marched in homage to him\u201d and had \u201cdied too late.\u201d<\/p>\n

The US State Department said the posts were \u201cjust a few examples of aliens who are no longer welcome in the US,\u201d adding that it would continue to identify foreigners who celebrated Kirk\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
A Mexican national said that Kirk \u201cdied being a racist, he died being a misogynist\u201d and stated that \u201cthere are people who deserve to die. There are people who would make the world better off dead.\u201dVisa revoked.\u2014 Department of State (@StateDept) October 14, 2025 <\/p>\n
On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump posthumously awarded Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation\u2019s highest civilian honor. Kirk\u2019s widow, Erika, received the medal on his behalf.<\/p>\n

Dozens of people in the US have lost their jobs or been suspended for mocking or justifying Kirk\u2019s death.
