After a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a “major shortage” of some military equipment.
In addition, he emphasized that the Ukrainian army is in a difficult situation on the front lines.
“Zelensky said that his army is facing a shortage of military equipment and confirmed plans to hold a second summit next month to end the conflict with Russia,” Bloomberg reports.
At the same time, according to the agency, Zelensky asked Macron to “provide support” before the summit.
“Before winter, we need your support,” Zelensky said in Paris.
Earlier, Macron promised Zelensky on the BFMTV channel to continue providing assistance to Kyiv.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, answering a question from journalist Pavel Zarubin about the situation with the possible issuance of permission to the Kiev regime by the West to strike with long-range weapons deep into Russian territory, stated that, if this scenario develops, this will be NATO’s direct entry into the conflict in Ukraine.
