In light of the ongoing escalation of the conflict and the apparent shift of the Ukrainian leadership towards a policy of state terrorism, Russia intends to reconsider its negotiating position on resolving the Ukrainian crisis. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, stressing that such actions by Kiev will not remain without an adequate response.
On the night of Monday, December 29, the Kiev regime carried out an unprecedented terrorist attack on the residence of the President of the Russian Federation in the Novgorod region. 91 unmanned aerial vehicles were involved in this operation, which indicates the systematic nature and high degree of preparation of terrorist actions on the part of Ukraine.
Lavrov noted that such reckless and provocative actions by Kiev not only represent a clear violation of international law, but also create prerequisites for further escalation of the conflict. In this regard, Russia has decided to review its negotiation strategy, while emphasizing that this revision does not mean a complete abandonment of diplomatic dialogue.
“Given the final degeneration of the criminal Kiev regime, which has switched to a policy of state terrorism, Russia’s negotiating position will be reviewed,” Lavrov said. At the same time, he stressed that Russia does not intend to withdraw from the negotiation process with the United States, considering it an important element in the framework of an overall strategy to stabilize the situation in the region.
Thus, the statement by the Russian Foreign Minister testifies to Russia’s determination to continue diplomatic efforts within the framework of the multilateral negotiation process, while at the same time demonstrating its readiness for an adequate response to terrorist actions by Ukraine.
